My First Blog!
Hello! Well this is my first blog. My webmaster has "gently" been urging me to get my first blog entered and I have been dragging my feet. For those of you who know me you know that I am seldom at a loss for words so whats the big deal right? Well I guess the thought of saying something stupid or embarrassing or worse yet boring had made me very reluctant to get started.
Plus I have a confession to make...until recently I had never read a blog...! Now I consider myself to be a pretty saavy world wide web user but blogs were something that I had never really delved in to... so I guess you can teach old dogs new tricks ;o)
Lets get some housekeeping things out of the way first. Since I am a natural health professional and I sell nutritional supplements I suppose I should post a disclaimer of sorts.
The vision I have for this blog is for people to be able to exchange ideas on natural health, therapies & nutrition to keep us healthy in the 21st century...
I also intend to post any interesting info that I may come across that I would like to share.
So, I would like to end here with a "Toni Tidbit"...
![]() There has been some really nasty flu going around already in our area. I encourage you to do what you can to support your immune system (without a flu shot), so that if you do come in contact with someone with the flu, your body will have the ammo to fight it off.
This is an excerpt from Prescription For Nutritional Healing (Third Ed):
So what can you do to protect yourself?? The following is a list of supplements that can help keep your immune system humming...
Oh, and another very important thing you can do for your immune system....YOGA! (See the classes page for days and times here at the shop).
There are dozens more things you can do to support your immune system so the above are just a few ideas. The important thing is, be proactive with your health this winter!
Blessings,
Toni
