Herbal Nutrition

Kimberly KelleherKimberly Kelleher has been studying food and nutrition since 1976.

In 1982 she began her teaching quest in the subjects of Natural Health Sciences. She taught Food and Nutrition, Early Childhood Education, State Health Core and Special Needs Populations.

She became a Naturopath (N.D.) with a Ph.D., in philosophy of Natural Health Sciences in 1998. She experimented with many different approaches and trends over the years.

One conclusion she has drawn in her quest is that moderation, balance and practicality, along with having a realistic attitude is necessary to identifying what programs and health suggestions are best for her and for her clients.

She employs these concepts in the Health Science and Nutrition programs that she is currently teaching at a local Community College and upon request.

In 1992 she began to study alternative methods of healing. She has come to understand that a balanced life is something that is important to strive for. She was introduced to many methods of hands on healing, meditation and approaches to spiritual development.

She came closer to understanding the interconnection between spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical components for developing health and wellness. But once again maintaining moderation and balance in all of these areas is paramount to wellness.

Her spiritual practice took her deeply into Transcendental Meditation. This practice has become an important foundation for all her healing work. She regards her meditation as the most important link in her health foundation to build a balanced life. She considers her meditation to be her service and devotion to God. She has had profound experiences from her meditation practice that has transformed her life. She teaches practical techniques to those who are interested in beginning the process of Transcendental Meditation.

There are many healing modalities. She has enjoyed Spiritual Counseling as a form of healing that she can use to help others. She has been a recipient of this form of healing for over 20 years. Spiritual Counseling also known as mediumship has helped her to cope and feel hopeful that we can receive so much support form our spirit loved ones. It was also in 1992 that she began to give spiritual counseling sessions and instruction as part of her healing work. In 1994 she became an Ordained Spiritualist Minister. She was ordained in Lily Dale, NY after an intensive two year retreat program. She has remained active with the fellowship for 10 years. During that time she was asked to mentor a two year program, and teach within the school. She also served as President of the Executive Board of the Fellowship and office administrator for the Fellowship school. Currently she is a member of the Church Of The Living Spirit and continues to lecture and give classes for this church.
